Types of Vehicles to use

Hello guys i am back. Today for this blog we will talk about the types of vehicles you should use. Ever since the late 1800's weve been using these machines to make our life faster, easier and more efficent everyday. Now why cant we use these vehicles in the Zombie apocalypse? well lets start with gas..most of you will think that having the biggest baddest truck would be best suited..well not really. You have to deal with gas and most likely gas would be very scarce to come by. Especially for a big truck. Some of you may also think that you can get a random tank and drive it around. Let me tell you this, 1. it will be very hard to find a random tank and if you do it will probably be under military control. Even in the Zombie Apocalypse there could still be small pockets of Military personnel running around 2. its very unlikely that a random civilian knows how to drive a tank. ive actually been inside a tank and let me tell you, there are so many controls there that i could barely make it turn around let alone drive. and lastly 3. when you run zombies- or people- over their skin and bones can and probably will get stuck within the treads of the tank. So basicallly the tank is just a giant armoured cage. Now lest move on, The sedan. The sedan is a pretty good car, I mean it has good gas mileage and its a very common car. Now lets break it down for you: 1. it has only a little space for storage so you cant bring everything with you. 2. since its a small car its subject to easy breaking unless you modify it before hand. 3. most sedans are not off road so dont expect to be going over hills or through woods. Your best bet is to stick to the road. Now heres the problem with that. Most likely in a Post-apcoalyptic world, all cars will be strewn across the road and highways thus blocking your path. That means one thing...youll have to walk. Now lets go with the truck. Its big and most can go off road. It holds alot of space and even without modifications it can still withstand alot of damage. I see nothin wrong with it except that its a gas guzzler, but that holds true for all types of SUV's and armoured trucks and such. So thats it for today if you have any questions or comments please feel free tell me. Thank you and have a nice day and i will be back soon.

  1. I am a sort of fanatic myself, I will most likely be checking this every day, correcting you, and starting debates, or questions on certain subjects. For this particular post, I'd say you are incredibly accurate, but they only issue is that a tank, while being a bad decision, would in fact, NOT get the bones stuck in the treads. They would get crushed. I mean, ITS A TANK. It's got the power to snap limbs clean in two, and the treads would crush any stray bones managing to get in them. Further more, a truck could also cause some issues. It is large, which wouldn't allow alot of manuevering. And it's slower than alot of vehicles. Trying to get through a hoard of zombies would be INCREDIBLY difficult. Now putting that aside. Why drive a car at all? Think of the noise. A zombie would hear that from a fair distance away. It's like asking to get mobbed by all the zombies in a vicinity. A car is great for deserted roads and cleared out streets, but don't try that in an area heavily populated. But great advice, and I await your next post with eager exictement. Good day sir.

    1. Yes the noise is an issue but what else do you expect. The bike would need your own physical power and if your being chased or have a large group with a lot of supplies, a bike is not going to make it.

  2. I believe that the best vehicle of choice would be the mini-van, as it is a cross between a tank and something smaller such as the sedan. The mini-van can run efficently on gas and move with adequate speed while moving through zombie territory. It can also be outfitted with spikes and/or armor of some sort so that running down zombies can be done with more ease and the chances of survival may improve substantially.

    1. Still, there's the subject of noise. It is loud. And in a quiet enviroment, something is bound to hear it. While it seems unappealing, a non- motorized vihicle, such as a bicycle, is a good choice. Quiet, easy to optain, and quicker than on foot. While a downside is that it runs on human power, that's in infinite supply (as long as your alive to power it).

  3. I agree with you myself, but when you're with a large group of people,it would be better to acquire a larger vehicle. Using people, there can be a variety of skills that you can put to use, and you can save certain people in case you resort to cannabalism (which would be a very effective survival technique because cannabalism is badass). Overall, the van is meant for survival.

    1. Thats very true, you'd need a larger vehicle for a big group. But cannabilism is a bad idea, because of the possibility for contamination or infection of the cadaver. If it's an infection, then the virus could infect the meat, and when you consume it, you would contract it, and therefore turn into a zomnbie.
